These details are from last week..

1st up. 2006 Lexus GS300 Mercury Metallic (my fathers car) No Siwrls, no defects, brand new car duh

process:
1. Wash Z7
2. Sonus Clay
3. Zaino Z2 x2 by hand with z6 in between

Wheels: Wash with NXT then Z2 x2
Tires: Zaino Z16 with tire wipe
Leather: Z10
All Vinly dash etc.: 303 Protectant

Overall Love the new GS design from top to bottom!!!

2nd UP:

04 Honda Accord 4dr EX 4cyl (grey) with leather Nice design but the 4cyl lacks the power I crave at times. This car belongs to a fellow co-worker.

Process:
1. Wash with NXT
2. CLay with Mothers clay
3. Applied NXT via PC and white polishing pad.
4. GLass cleaned with Stoners IG
5. Leather Cleaned 10:1 Woolite treated with Z10
6. Carpet Cleaned with 303 Upholstry cleaner diluted 50:50
7. Interior vinyl: 303 Protectant
8. Tires treat with NXT tire shine
9. AA on the wheel wells

Overall almost no swirls since it only sees touchless washes but I swear it had the worst bonded junk all over the car. The surface after wash felt like grit literally!!

Sorry for the poor photography.

I prolly left out a lot of little steps in my posts. Also before pics on these cars were kinda of useless since most of what I saw doesnt show up in the actual pics that I have.

Excellent posts.

Were you using the old Z2? Looks great on silver. How do you like it on wheels?

And the Accord:

NXT is always great the first few weeks.

Yea it has the old Z2 on it. I have to use up the half bottle I have left somehow . I have the Z2 PRO which I just used on my gf's silver TC and it looks GREAT. Def better then that old version. The new Z2 looks wetter and deeper when i was comparing both silver cars next to each other. The shade of silver both cars have (GS300 and TC) are almost Identical as well.

Z2 on the wheels give them a nice shine, but I put Z2 on there to mainly help with the brake dust cleanups. I have used Z2 on my wheels before and it def helps tremendously!

Very nice work!

On the 4runner, You were able to use 2.5 and a cutting pad and go straight to your LSP without any hazing? The reason I ask is I have a 05 4runner and the paint is extremely soft and I don't think I could go 2.5 w/ a cutting pad and have no hazing/marring but thats me.

I used the orange cut pad and worked the polish in for while at setting 6 until there was almost nothing there. I was working under the 500 watt hologens and didnt notice any hazing from it. If I switch over using a Yellow cutting pad I may get a "little" hazing but not much. If you work the polish in for a while there shouldnt be too much or none at all. On black paint I have had hazing with the same combo but very very slight.

Oh, OK I was thinking the orange was more agressive than the yellow. What brand of pads?

Lake Country. The Yellow foam pad they have is the most aggressive, then followed by the orange, white, and grey.

While SSR2.5 usually doesn't leave any hazing for me (with Meg's polishing pad), I usually follow up with SSR1 anyway. It seems to improve the look, even if there isn't any visible hazing or marring.
