Klassed Matrix

My dad just bought a new Matrix 2 weeks ago. I had a chance on Easter weekend to do a full prep. I was shocked that the car was completely scratch and swirl free! i was fully expecting to break out the PC and DACP but there was no need!.

Washed with Sonax wash
CWB and big 2x3' simoniz MF towel for drying
Klasse AIO x 2
Klasse SG x2
Meguiar's #26 hi tech yellow wax x2.

I waited about 12 hours between the 1st and 2nd coat of SG, with about a 1 hour wait between application and removal.

I haven't had a chance to do a full spring detail on my car yet. Last october I put AIOx2, SGx3 and #26x2 on it and haven't touched it since. I went through the touchless twice all winter and the water was still beading when I clayed it 2 weeks ago to remove the built up brake dust. i put a quick coat of s100 on it after claying to give it some protection until i can get to work on it.

Here are the pics:

Tim

Nice work, that is what mine is looking like (I also have a silver car) using the twins. My experiece has been that there is not that much of a difference between SGx1 vs SGx2, but there is a noticeable difference between SGx1 and SGx3. Something you may want to think about when the #26 quits working.

Thanks

The main reason why I used #26 is because I *love* the way that it made my car look when I used it 2 summers ago:

I found that it darkened the paint a little bit. I was thinking about doing a #7/#26 combo after I finish with my klasse layers soon.
