So what did you do last weekend ('99 Subaru Legacy Outback)

I spent the better part of Sunday working on a family members 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback. They've had it for several years, and it's never been detailed or wax - in fact, any washing has been of the commercial car wash variety.

Interior and exterior before and after pictures below. I Used Meguiar's No. 9 and No. 20 on the paint, Meguiar's Gold Class Trim Detailer on the black and gray exterior trim, and Gold Class Endurance High Gloss on the tires.

Interior seats were remarkablely clean, but carpets need some Blue Coral Carpet Cleaner and all the vinyl was treated with Meguiar's No. 40 after a lot of dusting and cleaning.

It took me three and a half hours, but the results were worth it. Tell me what you think.

Thanks!! It was a ton of work. Got a little bit of help, but most of it was solo. Thank god for the PC. Wouldn't want to rub it out by hand for love or money!!

And I was still exhausted afterward!!

Didn't get the chance to. We got started kind of late in the day, and by the time we were done with the interior and the exterior, it was time for a beer (actually several).

Will get under the hood on the next go around.
