Fall detaling with RaceGlaze 55 wax sample!

Hi Guys

Had this car for almost 1500 miles now and finished applying the last of two coats of Raceglaze 55 sample wax a week ago. Gave it was a wash and a photo shoot in the fall in some nice fall weather today.

When i got the car it had hardly any marks or marring, looks like it had only had one dealer wash!

I applied RG55 by hand, its suprising that even the little sample pot would cover a Prius size car 8 times, maybe more.

Just a tiny, 4mm round amount in to clean palm and warm it up. It then spreads evenly and thinly across the car. Use your fingers and palms to drag it around and as its starts to cool.

Wiping off was easy and there was no holograming or tough areas left after application. Its a very wet look (high jetting) with stunning reflections.

Beading is tight and uniform, thankfully when you flood the paintwork using the hose the water sheets fast and effectivly. I have heard this wax is very durable, if it is i will be very pleased!

The Prius has a mix of panels, some plastic, some metal.

Products:
DG 90X wash.
Clayed using Mothers clay.
4 Star Ultimate Swirl Remover Via G220 on a Megs polishing pad. (though there were few swirls, it mainly amps up some gloss).
Yellow Moose Wax by hand.
RaceGlaze 55 x2
Tyres got Wolfgang Diamond Tyre Gel.

Washed today then wiped down with Poorboys Spray and Gloss.

The little sample:

Fall is great weather for detailing!

Thanks for looking.
Geoff

Hi Maxi!

Thanks for the nice words.

The Yellow Moose does add a tonne of depth, but the RG55 added that reflective layer.

I think you need to allow 12 hrs between layers of RG55, i waited a week!
