My first customer Detail - Pontiac Grand Am

Well this is the first car outside mine that I've done. Not sure what year it is but it was pretty bad. Alot worse than I would of liked! Spent roughly 12 hours on the thing. I think i should really invest in a rotary if I'm going to do more cars like these. Also another thing that killed me too is that I went over the car with the orange pad first then with the wool should of been the other way around. I got hard pressed on time didn't expect it to take this long.

Anyways here's what I used:

Wheels:
P21s Wheel Cleaner
P21s polishing soap
2 Coats poorboys wheel Sealant
Poorboys Trim restore

Muffler tips:
2000 grit wet sand
P21s polishing soap

Paint:
Dodo Born to be mild
Riccardo spray with riccardo blue clay
PCXP 6" pads
Meguiars 4 on yellow
Meguiars 4 on wool
Zymol HD cleanse on orange
P21s Concours look wax

Engine:
Simple green degreaser
Poorboys Trim Restore

Glass:
Stoners Glass cleaner

Matts:
Kleenall APC diluted 1:1
Scotch guard Carpet Guard
Poorboys trim restore

Interior:
Poorboys Natural look dressing

Re: My first customer Detail - Pontiac Grand Am

wow. excellent work on your first customers car. That thing really needed some TLC. I'm sure you will have many more jobs to come. Just make sure that you try and educate your client a little on the proper care of their vehicle so they don't just drive through the bristle wash and undo the awesome work you just did.
