'00 Grand Prix GTP

They're PNG files, sorry for the 56kers! I also do apologize if some came out darker than intended.

The GTP needed some loving after sitting around for about four weeks after a nice haul to Ohio. I just got my buffer this past Friday and broke it out yesterday and buffed for the first time, never again will I hand wax :P. Spent about 5 hours yesterday working on it, needed minor correction from a car cover, but overall it was a pretty quick and satisfying process. Probably about 10 hours dedicated to it (2 day duration).

Thanks again Dave(dsms) for the encouragement and suggestions, especially when it came to buffing!

Used:
Meguiars NXT GENERATION® Car wash
Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit
Meguiars Ultimate Compound (Thank you car cover damage )
Meguiars Deep Crystal System Polish
Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0

I dunno, though it looked cool.

Jetstream, not swirls :P

Re: '00 Grand Prix GTP

Thanks guys I really am happy with how it came out, especially being the first time I've used a buffer at all and really satisfied with the outcome.

I agree. I've always liked them.

I really like what has been done to this one. The wheels and hood really sets it off. Nice work

Re: '00 Grand Prix GTP

Thank you, everything that's on the car was done by the previous owner. He's got great taste in modifications. I used to own a Midnight Blue GT, but ended up replacing it with a truck as I have horses.

The GTP pretty much sits and looks nice, if you will, I drive it every now and then, but I don't trust other people to take it out and leave in a parking lot for long periods of times. Worried more about dings than anything else. That and I've never owned a black vehicle, I must say it can prove be rather trying/frustrating!

There are a few more plans for it in the future when I save up enough to spend, but the main objective was to get a handle on the minor damage caused by the cover, which was impossible to do via hand. Thankful for the buffer!
