Finally got around to getting into detailing vehicles by purchasing a Porter Cable 7424XP,
lake country 5" pads, Poorboys 2.5 medium cut polish,
Menzerna 106ff finish polish, Poorboys natty wax.
Started with my dads car as a free gift to him and practice for me.
Process as follows: wash, clay, wash, ipa wipedown, poorboys 2.5, ipa wipedown,
menzerna 106ff, ipa wipedown, poorboys wax.
Went fairly well, still trying to debug my newb procedures including: knowing when the polish is fully worked in so i don't under/over do it, applying the right amount of polish, hand pressure on PC.
