My first full detail 2006 Evo Tarmac Black

First of all, thanks to this forum for being incredibly helpful during the entire process. Here is my hologram thread Hologram questions and....help

I used Meguiar's swirl remover, duragloss 105 polish, mothers california wax, and mothers quick detailer.

I started by applying the swirl remover with a rotory buffer and a yellow meguiar's solo pad. At night it looked really good and almost all of swirls were gone. The next day I realized the car was COVERED in holograms from that damned rotory.

I decided that I needed to get my hands on an ultimate detailing machine. I was about to buy when but then found out that my friend owns one. He let me use it along with an assortment of lake country (county?) pads. Needless to say, the ultimate detailing machine is leaps and bounds easier to use than the rotory. You can work an area for a long time without worrying about getting holograms. I am going to buy one as soon as possible.

Overall I feel like it turned out pretty well for a first timer.

Nice! The lines on the car make the paint pop even more. Too bad it looks like the rain has come to stay in the Northwest.

I just used a DA polisher for the first time a couple weeks ago (PC 7424), and it took me a bit to get used to it. I can't imagine trying to tame a rotary at this point.

Great job!!! What color LC pad did you use with the swirl remover? Any before pictures with the rotary holograms?
