1991 Nissan 300ZX w/ 550HP

Evening,

This customer contacted me to have his 300ZX detailed before it was to be entered in the 22nd Annual ZCON festival 2009. It's a seven day festival, and it was looks we were going for. The owner purchased the vehicle 9 years ago, and it was a repaint. Not the greatest repaint, and it's in need of a new paint job honestly, but today it was just about making it look as good as possible without polishing it. The previous detailer had already burned through the paint on the roof, so who knew ho much I had to play with. I did, however polish out the front fenders as they had light scrapes and marring due to the owner doing most of the engine work.

Enjoy...

1) Wash w/ CG CWG and Zymol sponge
2) Dried with Sonus Der Wunder WW and Last Touch
3) PO203S w/ blue Uber pad on front fender w/ Flex
4) CG EZ Creme Glaze
5) CG Jetseal 109
6) Souveran

- Wheels washed with P21S, sealed with Jetseal 109 and Zaino Z16 on the tires.

:applause2:

Upon arrival, hadn't been washed since January!

Nice and dirty...

Nice work Mr. Previous Detailer!

Cluster...

The afters!

Much better after one pass of PO203S on blue finished pad...

Lots of power...

Goodbye!

That's Rodleb's 300zx from another forum I am on. I wish I was going to Zcon this year but San Antonio is just a little far. Next year it is supposed to be in Memphis, TN.

Great job on the Z. It's beautiful. I am sure he will do awesome at the show.

That's correct Pat, well spotted! Thanks for the kind words, the car was a pleasure to work on. I asked him to take plenty of pics at Zcon...

Indeed it is. And he neglected to mention in his own post on our Z forum that he had his car professionally detailed. The wording used suggested he did it himself.

Busted.
