Talking RSX Perfected

I so had been looking to get back into an RSX for a while. I decided I didn't want my ridgeline anymore so I found an 02 with low mileage and decided to go look at it. Its a stock 02 with 49K....This car is a cream puff thanks so much Dylan Really he took great care of the car maintance wise. Needless to say it was dirty, very dirty. I knew I could take care of the dirt and the car otherwise was pretty much perfect for an 02 I took it

Luckily I had the little woman to help me with this detail. I did the last, Z06, all on my own and forgot exactly how long it takes by yourself Per our usual, she does wheels and interior while I do wells, engine bay and paint work.

We started by washing the car with Chemical guys citrus wash and clear, of course with a two bucket method... It does a great job and smells good too I pulled the wheels to let the little lady scrub those, while I soaked the wells with dilluted Purple Power and scrubbed. I have been using the purple power for engine bays and wheel wells for a while and really like it, if I don't dillute it enough its a little strong but other than that its great. As you can see the car was dirty...

I pulled the car inside to clay and allow her to get moving on the interior...Its difficult to see in the pics but there were water stains along the whole car and alot of hidden dirt...

Re: RSX Perfected

The lady had her hands full on the interior also. We both decided that the full Leatherique kit was needed.

Soaked the seats with the rejuvinator oil and threw a little heater in the car. The heater just helps its not needed. Let it sit overnight and then she scrubbed with Prestine clean and wiped with a warm Microfiber.

She does great work..

I clayed with DoDo juice and mothers clay...You can acutally see that the right half of hte hood was done its acutally a brighter silver after clay.

I went at the paint with 203s, down to 103, then burnished with 85rd, I proceeded with ezcreme glaze, opti seal, then opti spray wax....I know overboard but I had the time and it is my car so I have to make it look as good as I can to show what my works like.

I dressed the engine with fade2black and Optimum protection plus...

What I ended up with...Not to bad for a seven year old car....
