Re: Porsche 911 Turbo (930) Martini Special Edition

Wow! Excellent work bro!

That paint was horrendous though! I wouldn't even call that orange peel...more like a water fall effect using paint runs! You did an amazing job at making the best of what you had to work with. As Joe from Superior Shine would say "MAXIMUM POTENTIAL !!!!"

I can't say I've ever seen such poor paint work on a car before though...especially a Porsche!

Great work ! Definitely a tiring detail. The paint was in horrendous condition. I would be scarred to wetsand bubbling paint like that. But your process with keeping the client up to date is great customer service. Thanks for taking the time to write this up.

Thumbs up for a fellow Malaysian !

Wow, now thats some impressive work! I dont know if i've ever seen such a bad paint job before, but you definitely made a huge difference. Was the paint CC or SS?

DRT, I've checked and the original paint is supposed to be SS (Porsche Grand Prix White) but I didn't get any paint transfer on my pads so it must be CC. I did try to confirm this with the owner but he can't recall if the car has been painted.

Thanks dsms. Appreciate the compliment. Hope to achieve your level of work one day.

Yeah man. The 930 Turbo was pretty quick. All of a sudden the power just kicks in and it flies. Must have been mind blowing in the 80's.
