seech, you need to remove the HTML from your post and use the IMG tags. I did not realize HTML processing was turned on in this forum area. I will be turning it OFF.
DavidB, thanks for trying to move it to the pro area but I don't actually detail full time for a living so I thought it best to post it under C&B.

Any reason why HTML should be turned off? HTML is much better for me as I also post on my blog and I can just copy the entire post over. The Meguiars forum also enables HTML so its easy to post on this forum and theirs. Otherwise I would have to do one post for my blog and another for the forums. Very tedious especially with this many pictures. Hope you can consider leaving HTML on.

beautiful....no question about it....just beautiful work.
Out side of the striping (I know, rare and they did crazy things in the 80s) that is just a beautiful car and I'm glad to see it brought back to life the way you've done it....

Many many thanks. This job certainly pushed the limits of what I thought was possible.

Hey, obviously I don't question that pictures don't really do this car justice.....that being said, what was the owners responce when he first got a look at the finished product?

Re: Porsche 911 Turbo (930) Martini Special Edition

The owner was amazed that the paint on the doors could be corrected. He had initially thought that a respray was in order. He's a car enthusiast who spends his time restoring old classic cars but has yet to be educated about proper paint care...

Will be getting him some basic items to take care of the paint.

Re: Porsche 911 Turbo (930) Martini Special Edition

Apparently the 930 Turbo Martini is quite rare. Only two in Malaysia and if I'm not mistaken only 3 remaining in the UK.... (I think, don't quote me on that).

That is some crazy factory paint orange peel. It looks like it's a really bad repaint. You can still see it clearly through the stickers in the after shoots. I would have \thrown in the towel when I saw all that mess. Great job and hope you were payed well.

Yeah. The orange peel was really bad. The owner suspects that it was because of a hydraulic leak from his hydraulic car jack in his house but it does look more like a paint problem as it only affected both door panels.
