Ever seen this wax before??

yes Seth I have seen it and used it..lol....

I used it in the late 80's on my Toyota truck....we bought it for the boat...worked great on the boat....and so I did the truck..it came out real nice.....and have to say..it did last...but have not seen it in ages now...but guess you have....it was not expensive back then... ...it was a very durable wax..lasted the summer on the boat...in water 24/7...and 3-4 months on the truck in winter time....nice find....

They also make a floor wax and it almost looks the same....my dad used it on the hardwood floors....stuff was slippery...we use to skate with our socks on the floor....dad loved it..we buffed it....

I may look this wax up..lol....brings back old memories.....I think they made a bowling alley wax also...or maybe that was butchers....

Thanks Al.

I remember those days of sliding on the hardwood floors including a splinter the size of a dagger shooting up into my foot!

I had never seen this wax anywhere and thought maybe it would be an interesting winter wax or a heavy spit shining-type wax.

I don't know, I'm a sucker for paste waxes and use nothing else! I figured for that price, why not add to the collection! Seems like it'll last 10 years like a tin of #16.

well Seth I am going to get some....just to see if it is as good as it was 20+ years ago..lol....it did shed water like a duck back then..and gave a great shine..and that was a T-Shirt buff then...lol....and the boat always was clean of a scum line after a run out on the water....

Dam..you brought back some great memories..thank you...

Scott..it was 20 years ago....I know it was night and day on the befores and afters...my truck was a 82 Toyota 4x4..and I used it in 84..so paint was 2 years old....and red...

I believe Raindance or Ralley wax was my choices back then...and dupont #7 powdered wash..lol...and a sponge....I knew nothing of swirls then...just clean paint...

but the look was real nice..it glowed....in fact beer cans slide of the hood.....

I am going to try it again to see if it is the same...come spring...

If I remember right it was a custard color...

anyways..yes it did give a great look better than raindance or ralley wax...back then
