What's wrong with him guessing that the owner is American?
P1et, I don't think you're following the meaning of the thread.
I found post #24 offensive and said as much to the writer. Posts 27, 28 and 29 apparently are in agreement with me. #28 is actually agreeing that the offensive comment was out of line.
What started as some good natured comments on different styles of truck trim unfortunately took on a racially bigotted overtone. I refuse to stand by and allow this type of comment to go unchallenged, and apparently so do many other members.
Back to the original point of this thread. Not a fan of ice. Looks like an oil slick on your paint, and especially if you have swirls and contaminants, seems to just highlight them terribly.
And for me I'm kinda split on the chrome. The inner blingster in me says you need more and you should have gone with gold but the rational side of my brain says when the sun hits it you'll blind everyone within a 1/4 mile radius.
WOW!
You guys are a tough crowd. 3 days and 48 views and not a single comment. Not even a "looks like crap" or "Tell me you don't really use Turtle Wax ICE on that!"
I think that this is about as good as you can get that nasty NISSAN paint to look without power tools.
I guess I have my work cut out for me if I am going to get a WOW out of this bunch.
Ok, the finish is nice but all that chrome is pure ghetto...It looks terrible.

i personally can't believe u used ice for that kind of result-and i too must join the bandwagon saying i'm not much into chrome, BUT to each his own as the proverb goes-more glass to see yourself in i suppose!
