My brother bought this car earlier this week. On to the detail!
The car had a few random rotary holograms and some very light swirls (most likely from dealer prep).
Process:
Wash with Meguiars Deep Crystal wash
Clay with Optimum Opti-clay (car wash as lube)
Poorboys SSR1 via white polishing pad (PC)
Klasse AIO by hand
Poorboys Natty's Paste Wax by hand
The SSR1 really cleaned up the swirls and buffer marks after only one pass. I was using enough pressure to slightly bog the motor down at speed 6 (10lbs pressure?). I checked my progress with a halogen worklight. I think I am getting a hang of the PC.
The Natty's really made the car DRIPPING wet. Unfortunately it clouded over, so the pictures can't fully show it. My digital camera is also an autofocus model. I'll see if my brother can take pics tomorrow.
