YOU are THE... MASTER!!!
I have some questions if you don't mind
1. why the use of M95 and not M105 or other compounds? how do you like the M95? (compared to M85)...
2. For the headlight buckets, what about polishing those areas with the 4" CCS pads? will they fit?
Brilliant work man, the photos, the dedication,

Got any pics of the Lake Country pad you converted to a hand applicator? | Thanks Method. I do not have any pics of the LC foam but I will take some and PM them to you when I get a chance. Quote: |

How did you go about polishing the louvers on the hood?
Awesome job as always Todd. | The louvers where polished by hand using the same method as the headlight buckets. Thank you for the compliments
Very nice indeed. Good to see such a classic get the TLC it deserves. I can only imagine doing those wheels; spoke by spoke by spoke.... The car redefines RED. Quote: |

I have a package with free lense and sensor cleaning, I just need to take it in. I am thinking of upgrading the lense anyways, does it make a big difference? Thanks. Quote: |

4inch foamed wool? | Yes its a 4 inch purple foamed wool pad. I have been working with Eric from Lake Country on new pad designs specificly for situations I have run into as well as a new face design for larger pads to reduce friction and heat. I believe the 4 inch purple wool pads are available now from autogeek? Quote: |

1) I was running low on M105 (already on my second gallon). I like M95, it cuts more then 85 and has a much longer play time (much wetter) and finishes down slightly better.
2) The 4 inch pads (atleast in orange and white) would cut to much on the sides and it was a tight area. I do have some prototype LC four inch pads that I had made for areas such as this using a softer foam backing and a beveled and rounded edge, but I did not have them with me

That is as close to perfect as you can get.

For me it made a big difference. That VR feature makes it easier to drag the shutter a little w/o the blurring. In truth, this lens is way too good for my D70 - it would probably perform better on the D300 or the D80. BUT...the $850 price tag for the lens alone is pretty steep. I am thinking seriously of getting a smaller point-n-shoot unit like the Coolpix P5100 for those times I don't want to carry the big camera bag around.
Besides, with your typical subject matter, it's hard to take a bad picture.
