2000-Something Jeep Wrangler Christening Wash

I've finally decided to stop lurking and post some work. Earlier last summer I helped out my cousin's fiance and detailed her unwashed Jeep Wrangler. She is originally from Maryland and has never washed this little guy. She actually used the Jeep to trek from Maryland down here to North Texas.
I thought this wouldn't be all that bad of a job but about halfway through I felt that I may have bitten off more than I could chew...

In the end I felt that I brought the Jeep back to life and added many extra miles to the paint. It was neat to see her reaction. She was completely beside herself and couldn't believe how dirty she had let it get.

Tools: PC Orbital

-Wash: Meg's Gold Class and Thick MF Sponge
-Clayed: Mother Clay Bar lubed with PoorBoys QD Spray and Gloss
-50/50 Water & Isopropyl to remove any remaining wax
-3M Rubbing Compound Light Cut with Orange Pad on hood, front, and fenders PC setting 4.
-Optimum Polish with White Pad then redone with Black Pad on PC setting 3.
-Klasse Sealer Gloss glazed on by hand.
-ScratchX used on Ragtop windows
-Meguiar's Natural Shine sprayed on undercarriage and in fenderwells
-Extreme Shine applied on fender trim (nothing else would keep them glossed although my recently purchased Hyper-Dressing would have worked perfectly).
Lexol Cleaner used on vinyl seats and dash.

PICS!
Before:

Post Wash

I couldn't rescue this wheel no matter what brush or how hard I scrubbed

Durty, durty clay...

Polishing results...

Finished up! Love that Klasse!

good question. I'm not sure if I did to tell you the truth. I believe I just stuck with a really tough brush and soap. I gave it at least a good 15 minutes before I decided I needed to move on. The rest of the wheels came out fantastic. I'm not sure why that one got the brake dust baked on it.

Try some steel wool next time on wheels like that, use little pressure though.
I love how the underbody and fender wells look really black

Looks much better! Trim dye on those side moldings and it would look brand new.

cleaning the fenderwells is so underrated. It really does help out the whole image of a well cleaned car.

Recommend me some. I've been on the lookout for some but I haven't been suggested anything good.

Try Black Wow for the fender trim.

sure did (ScratchX) but if I recall correctly I forgot to polish them before I took those pics so they show hazy in those pics but the ScratchX sure did help a ton.
