'04 Dodge Ram....Swirls Galore!!!

Had a full correction on an '04 Ram that was customized. Had some interesting Lambo doors on it(sorry, no pics of the doors open) and VERY loud exhaust.

I really didn't have any time to take some before shots as I had my work cut out for me.

Process is as follows:
ONR Wash
Clay
IP via orange foam @1700
106ff via orange foam @Spd 6 UDM
DWG via black foam @Spd 4 UDM
Souveran by hand
NXT on the tires.

Couple before pics:

Afters:

Enjoy!! Comments are welcomed. It's time for a drink, I'm BEAT!

pics of the owner??? hahahahaha not really my style but it looks like you did a great job. I noticed that you used the orange pad to finish down with, did you notice any marring and hazing prior to that?

Excellent turnaround on the truck. The paint looks flawless.

He was smart enough to hire a competent detailer to correct his truck. If he has manners than I would say no, not a complete tool. Hopefully slicknickis3 didn't invite him to view this post.

Hey, I call them like I see them. If I hurt someones feelings I apologize.

But flashy rims, lambo doors, and an unnecessarily loud exhaust on a RAM with a license plate that says "Stuntin" just screams that to me.

Surely the mods are not your taste, they are not mine either. On the other hand, who are you to say what's right and wrong? What does having a Ram have anything to do with the situation? Does a large 5.7L not justify a loud exhaust? Would lambo doors look good on an Audi, MB, Lexus? No. Sorry, your post just screams ignorance. I guess the mods would be more appropriate on a 2.5L .

It's pretty easy for me to say what is right and wrong when I am giving my opinion, that's what makes it my opinion.

I didn't realize we had so many Sally Sensitives on these forums.

Re: '04 Dodge Ram....Swirls Galore!!!

That's some great turnaround! I have a truck in that same color, it cleans up really nicely even though it's not the softest of paints.

And in regards to the license plate, does he do stunts? I don't get it.

Re: '04 Dodge Ram....Swirls Galore!!!

Looks good. Couple more passes and perhaps a softer finishing pad and it would have gotten rid of some of that haze.

I was thinking the same thing Carbon. Did the orange pad produce any issues for you?
