10sec Evo VIII detail!

This is my buddy's car that I did when I went back to GA. This is the 1st time using my UDM and Menz polishes EVER along with this being my highest paying job so far lol. I don't have any before pics and these were taken by him about a week to a week and a half after I detailed and he had just gotten his new Advan wheels! The car was a WRECK!!! It hadn't been detailed since I did it by hand over a year ago and had just seen coin-op washes.

The car is running heavy upgrades including a larger turbo. I won't give away the parts as im not sure if he wants me too or not, but it made over 400 AWHP on a DynoDynamics Dyno (equates to close to 475-500 AWHP on a Dynojet). Its also got a JDM Evo IX front bumper and JDM Evo IX rear bumper.

Process:
Coin-op wash (stupid water ban in GA...)
Simple Green on wheels and degrease engine (not the ones that are on there now)
Clay w/ Adams clay and Megs QD
Menz IP w/ UDM LC orange
Menz FP w/ UDM LC white
Menz FG w/ UDM LC black or blue (can't remember)
Collinite 845s

Tell him to lower that thing! Nice Advans and RE01Rs.

What turbo does he have on it?

lol It is lowered on Swifts. They were just installed about a week ago. Those RE01R's are amazing!!! I love em! I won't tell everything, but hes running a Buschur 20g-9-lt and its a HKS Type-R FMIC.

Good deal, I was going to guess Swifts or Racecomp Eng. springs due to the height. For me, the Swifts hurt performance (in the slalom mainly).

Oh well, the detail kicks butt and color really POPS

Good job!

Its very easy to work with, but I didn't see too much of a difference. A little bit of a difference, but not enough to warrant the work. I don't think I worked it in enough or let it sit long enough to matter though. I just applied and wiped off (It was getting late and we were heading to an Evo/WRX/STi meet and was running out of time).

MartinD-He just put them on for now so it looks a little better with the Advans. Hes doing coilovers soon, but he just blew his motor, so hes going with an AMS 2.3 RR . Should be a beast!

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm really starting to think I have a knack for detailing
