Re: My Civic - From begining to end....

Detail Update: PC showed up in the mail today, thanks Mr. Vic. Now its time to order the pads, polish, sealant and some nice wax.

Update: I bought some of the Meguiars PlastX. I'm planning on applying some to my headlights tomorrow and see if I can polish them out a bit. I also ordered some Plexus that might help as well.

Stiff: I want to do a engine tuck, maybe over the winter if I get time. If I do a tuck I want to do a full tuck which will require alot of time in lengthening all the wires.

Re: My Civic - From begining to end....

Speaking impressive SOHC engines, I have 3! 4.7 Dakota, 2.2 Daytona, and 2.5 LeBaron. Both cars are turbo, and my truck is just cammed with computer. My Daytona is in the works for 400whp, and the LeBaron is 1 of 250 so it's staying stock! I have pics on my MySpace, my extention is bworts.

This is deffinately a nice looking Honda. I'de like to see it finished up!

Re: My Civic - From begining to end....

UPDATE: I order some more products this morning.

Opti-Seal
S100 (it was cheap and I figured I would try it)
Collinite (going to use on my DD, depending on how it looks I might even use it on my civic).

I also went up to autozone a couple nights ago and got some of the meg plastx. I used some on one of my healights last night and it worked really well!!

All I need now is to get my Menzerna polish and some pads and it will be go time. I need to save some more money though. Have to make sure I have money for the GF's Xmas presents lol.

Stratous: I will check out your myspace next time I'm on there. Sounds like fun group of cars you have.

On silver, I dont think you will see a difference between S100 and collinite.

Collinite is one of my favorite detailing products period. It protecs like armor, and lasts longer than any other carnauba I have used.

Re: My Civic - From begining to end....

Update 12/7/07

I received my Prima Amigo (polish) an Prima Epic (wax) today. Just another brand I would like to try out. Maybe I will use it on my girlfriends car.

I'm going to have to much products/polish's and not enough cars to try them on lol. I have a feeling ill end up using only one brand though....menzerna

Re: My Civic - From begining to end....

My car is in the 250whp range (its rated at 110 at the crank stock lol).

Detail Update:

I just ordered some pads and danase pad cleaner. I got 2 Orange, 1 green, 2 White, and 1 blue pad.

All I need is some menzerna. Might have to wait till the new year to get it though

Re: My Civic - From begining to end....

Well quick update:

I received my pads and ordered some menz 106ff and SIP. Guy won't be able to ship them out till the new years so now I just sit and wait.

I wish I was out in the garage polishing right now :-x

Noting that I'm a big fan of Collinite....I quit using 476S on the silver A8 during the winter as it just didn't look as nice as #16 (which is mighty similar to P21s). Never know just how it'll look (to *you*) until you try.

Re: My Civic - From begining to end....

well Im using OS & s100 on the silver car.

Collinite on my accord (a dark green color, almost black). The accord I'm not so much worried about the looks as the car is really really beat up. I just need a decent look and good protection.
