Well another outstanding Gathering!!! The concept Camaro was present and is a sight to behold in person. I can only hope that GM makes me a version with an arrowhead and a bird on it.
I have to give undying gratitude to my good friend and fellow Autopian Woody (WS67902) for his help this past weekend...without him I would have been dead in the water. All together we did 8 cars in about 2 days. We started at 3:00 on Thursday and finished around the same time on Saturday. We would have been able to do more but intermittent thundershowers added at least another 3-4 hours to the work days. We would have to stop...wait for the shower to pass...dry the client cars and then dry our own cars (no acid rain damage for me thanks!!!). In all everyone did well with pretty much every car we detailed winning either its class or coming in runner-up.
If you have an f-body I can't say it enough...come to this show just once and you'll be hooked!!!
We were so busy that I did not get one single picture of the show so I'll have to pirate a few from folks that took some. All I have is the following shots of Woody and I working...
'95 Trans Am in the foreground received a wash and interior detail. '98 Z28 under the tent received ZPC via PC and ZFX'd Z-2Pro x's 3 as well as a full interior detail.
'99 SS in the foreground received a wash and interior detail. '95 Z28 under the tent received ZPC via PC and ZFX'd Z-2Pro x's 3 as well as a full interior detail. '02 Trans Am received VM via PC and PB's Natty's Blue by hand and a full interior detail. You can see Lola and Woody's '79 Trans Am just peeking through the trees above the enclosed trailer in this shot.
'02 SS under the tent received a wash and interior detail. The '97 SS received VM via PC and
Pinnacle Souveran by hand and a full interior detail. '99 SS received VM via PC and PB's Natty's Blue by hand as well as a full interior detail.
One of the many "tips" Woody and I received from our gracious clients.
