Car show tips

After getting your car prepared for a local or a out of town car show, it seems that when you get there you pretty much have re-clean your car all over again, out of town shows are worse, does anyone have any time saving tips or special procedures.

I have a bunch of tips:

1. Use a bra

2. Tape up various parts of the car with racers tape. e.g. lug nuts

3. I carry a small set of ramps to allow better access to the under carriage

4. I carry a full detailing kit.

5. I install a new set of mats at the event

As a rule, I never wash my car after driving to an out of town event. Its just too hard to ensure a perfect job without all my garage facilities. Instead quick detailer is used every where.

Very nice setup and great tips, yes I find it very difficult to keep my car in top detailed shape on a out of town or even a cross town journey.

i am going to be trailering my gn to a show about 600 miles from home on an open trailer, and was worried about getting it back to show ready when i got there.

looks like that kit is the answer.

i was going to take my ez up tent, and pc and other various tools as well.
