Lots and lots of pics from the Auburn Cord Duesenberg! **56k warning**

Went to the ACD festival this past weekend...one of, if not THE largest car show/auction in the world. Very rare, very expensive, very cool cars everywhere!

Great pictures and very nice cars. I'm drooling over the 65 Chevelle and the silver Viper.....

The 65' Chevelle was probably the cleanest car there...inside, paint, engine bay...everything was spotless.

Most of the exotics there were poorly taken care of...swirl marks, water spots (etching), etc...

Thanks for the pics! I enjoyed them! Nice selection of vehicles. Must have been a ton of fun.

Too bad for the dial-up Autopians!

I wonder what's up with that? There is a Ferrari/Maserati dealer right by where I work, and I stop by at lunch occassionally to drool. One time the owner had his F40 outside (in the blazing sun) on display. It was swirled to hell, the rubber around the back window was cracking, and the paint was getting to look a bit more orange than red.

That Series 1 is pretty cool, was it on auction? The same Ferrari dealer near me has one in the showroom. It's a pretty neat car. I want to pop the hood and get a picture of that Aurora V8 in there, and I'd really love to hear it rev through those Borlas to see if it sounds better than my Corsas (I'm not so sure it would).

All those pictures are awesome, and thanks for posting them up!

Was it just me, or did it look like some dude was sitting on that Aston Martin when you all first saw it?

Great pics! Where was this located? I have one other question... Were there ANY Auburns, Cords, or Duesenbergs?

It was in Auburn, Indiana. About 10 minutes north of Ft. Wayne where I'm at.

And they had EVERY kind of vehicle you could imagine there, but I only had a 64MB memory card for my camera, so I didn't take pics of half the cars that were there.

I have a few close up pics of some of the exotics that show just how poorly the paint has been taken care of, I'll upload them in a little bit to give you an idea.
