Summer Belmont Car Show!

This is a two day event held at Belmont Race Track in Elmont, NY with judging taking place on Sunday 8/17. There are typically over 300 cars at this show and tons of vendors. It's always a great show to participate in or just visit.

I'll be there with my car on Sunday. If you're coming stop by to say hi! Look for the white E-ZUp canopy by the red Mark VIII.

Directions:
Cross Island Parkway to Exit 26B
Enter at gate 3 off the North side of Hempstead Turnpike.

Well the Belmont Auto Show was a great success! It rained at first and it looked like it might be a rainout but the sun came out and over 400 cars showed up with nearly 200 being judged.

For once Moose (my car) had company with my friend Matt (Squirrel) showing up with his Mark VIII so it was the Rocky and Bullwinkle show up against the world and we placed First (Moose) and Second (Squirrel)! A Mark VII finished Third so it was a clean sweep of Lincolns beating other Fords as well as GMs and Chryslers.

I love the Topolino! 15hp! I bet the windshield wiper motor in the Mark VIII has more horsepower! But it looks like a ton of fun!
