My previous car - 309 Gti
Fifth place concours this day, not bad for a daily driver with 110,000 miles on the clock
my current car
Best result Ist place show and shine, (2nd on the day of the above pic) beaten in the standard class by a modified car!

rich....not sure cos i can't see your treads on the 306, but on the 309 you ain't done the treads! not sure to what extent the judges look at these things. Also if you drag your finger over the tyre and you feel residue, that loses points too. buff the tyres big time to a nice sheen. But then im sure you know this! granny...eggs...i'll get me coat.

It was a wax called merlin, about 40 or 50 quid i think. It was a yellow carnuba wax nothing special, looked like or very simerler to blitz, but maybe a little softer. To remove easier than blitz, more like megs 26.

Thanks agin, weather conditions where ideal, i know we disscussed this yesterday, on that day i applied a coat of no 7 and a coat of 26 on the day and qd'd with F.I. Reflections should be better this year P21s! You have to love it. Some guy on our club forum told me the other day it was impossible to get depth from a light colour like mine!

Congratulations on the win!
All the hard work is worth it when you have an outcome like this.
Keep up the shining!
PS- I can't wait to see your car with P21S too.
Cheers,
My Black 7 Series
