Valentine 1 Version 1.8

Hey,

Anyone have a Valentine 1 (version 1.8)? I was thinking of getting one, but I heard some people calling it a "chicken little" saying that it had bad falsing problems, especially when compared with the version 1.7. How is the falsing?

Thanks

I have the 1.7...

I'll forward this thread to my friend (has a 1.8) and ask his response. To the best of my knowledge its usually the cops he has more problems with, not false readings .

I must not be following the V1 scene very closely Is there some new reason to send my older (v.Gee-I-dunno) ones in for another upgrade?

Tuan209- Thanks for that link (heh heh, that's another site I better not get too interested in, I spend too much time online as it is). Lots of good stuff there.

Maybe it's time to send a few of our V1s in for upgrades again. With, oh I dunno, maybe six or seven of them I never plan to buy another new one!

The new thing now is POP mode, that's the protection the 1.8 gives you.

I love that site! I'm a member there and it has been indispensable.

No doubt! Heh heh, I have to consciously avoid getting too intrigued by such sites

I gotta go hit up the V1 site and see about this POP business...

Good idea. It can't be used to give tickets, but sometimes they do anyways.

Check here to see if it is used in your area:

Thanks for that link.

Predicatably, OH does use POP. Guess I'll be upgrading; any way of beating instant-on sounds good to me. I've been incredibly lucky recently (the LEOs weren't paying attention and I was able to get it down before they got me zeroed in) and I've probably used up all my luck for a while. The M3 seems to ge a bit of a ticket-magnet, probably the "yuppie in a Bimmer" thing...
