New wheels for a Maserati Quattroporte

I have a client with a Maserati Quattroporte in a Black/Brown/Copper Metallic that I can find no reference to on the web. He is interested in purchasing new wheels but need a recommendation for Manufacturers/Models that are appropriate. I would guess he is looking to spend $5-$6000 on the purchase. I was looking at the HRE 941R in black with a polished lip but those are steep. Could anyone else give me their expertise?

Re: New wheels for a Maserati Quattroporte

Are you asking about the quality of the wheels or the bolt pattern/backspacing you need?

Re: New wheels for a Maserati Quattroporte

I would let the wheel shop worry about fitting the wheels. Mostly interested in top three or four quality brands that offer a classic look. Some of the wheels I browsed were pretty gaudy and there are tons of manufacturers.

Re: New wheels for a Maserati Quattroporte

Not a pro on wheels, but I have always liked HRE wheels on high end cars.
DPE is also very nice. A few others I recommend looking at are i-Forged, jline, Kinesis and TechArt.

Re: New wheels for a Maserati Quattroporte

Just like Todd wrote, try DPE's, jlines, or iForged. I'm actually on my fourth set of iForged wheels and picked each set up for roughly about $3.5K (not including tires obviously). DPE's will run closer to $4K.

For iForged, try e-mailing Daniel@themodcity.com. He will hook you up with an incredible deal since they are the largest iForged dealer in the world (he can also get DPE's and other lines as well). Just tell him Patrick with the black BMW 545i and the Lexus IS350 sent ya.
