Beautiful car btw!! :-)
Very rare indeed, and with the UAW strike underway even more rare, there was already a constraint on the 2008 vettes as it was, the color is a special order, and now that the strike is underway it might be a while before more of them hit the street... I had found the production numbers for the color thus far on one of the vette forums, but I can't find the link. I'm curious to see how few of them there are.

Pops took delivery at Richard Hibbard Chevy, which is one of the most prolific vette dealers in the US, and it was their first regular C6 one in that color so far, they had a Z06 in jetstream the day before... that should say something.

GM is calling it a different name, but it is very very similar to the Nassua Blue in the late 90's model C5.

Yep, Nassau Blue is pretty close to Jetstream Blue, at least in the bright sun. But on cloudy days, the Jetstream Blue takes on a completely different persona, and you can see a lot more green in it, it's almost like a flip flop paint job then.

Here is a picture of a Nassau Blue C5:

I'm waiting for GM to come back out with the Spiral Gray Metallic on the C6, I think that will look killer.
I don't think the C6 would look good in any sort of darker gray color. In Photoshop I played around with some different colors on the C6, and did one in a gun metal gray, just a bit darker than spiral gray and it doesn't look good on the C6:

Agreed... grey just isn't a 'vette color' IMO... machine silver isn't bad if you're into that family of colors. Personally I'm a fan of red or black, but thats just me.... I have to admit the more I see JSB the more I like it.

Re: First Pics - 2008 C6 Z51 Jetstream Blue

I'm not a fan of silver, simply because there are far too many silver cars on the roads today. They just don't stand out. I like unique colors, such as this Jetstream Blue. Although my top two choices in colors if I were buying a new Vette would be Crystal Red (it's a metallic red that looks like Candy Apple Red) or Atomic Orange. I definitely would not get black again, it's too much work to keep clean for a daily driver.
