Chevrolet Suburban Forums?

Anybody know of any good online forums with info about the previous-generation Chevy Suburbans? Our dog-car requirements are changing and I need to start looking into something bigger than the Blazer

If I gotta drive one of those behemoths it'll need some serious upgrades (handling/braking/headlights/etc.) and I need to get it all right the first time...so I need to do some research.

Re: Chevrolet Suburban Forums?

TrueDetailer- Thanks for that! I've found a few places, but not that one. I'll be checking it out and I appreciate the recommendation.

I figure that with all the vehicles that've been built on that platform, everything's already been figured out, so I shouldn't have to do any blind experimenting. But I'm leery of, well, what I read on the internet

Heh heh, it just figures that they're switching to a new server and experiencing crashes That's OK, I have a while before things get critical.

That is a good site. Hopefully they'll get the server up. TONS of active membership there

I've learned a thing or two about the GM trucks from that site.

Suburbans are fun vehicles. It's the only choice in my book if I were to buy a full size SUV again.

Lots and lots of information there. I have an 02 Silverado so I spend a lot of time there.

s-series.org - Home

I used to spend some time there when I had a 97 S-10. There might be better forums out there, but that's the only one I ever frequented.

The most popular and site with most active members would be s10forum.com

Now the site with the most knowledge would be Blazin Low - Your Source for Sport Truck Blazers and S-Series SUV's . Not a whole lot of active members and not many thrills but the best site for info.

Re: Chevrolet Suburban Forums?

Thanks, Frito Bandito, I bet that one'll be right down my alley. Heh heh, after what I spend getting the thing we'll see how much modding I do right away. But my rent-a-Suburban experience brought a few, uhm...deficiencies...to light.

The worst part of this for me is that I'll have to sell off something besides the Blazer (which I'm a bit anxious to get rid of anyhow, have the perfect buyer) in order to make room for such a big thing; it won't fit in my one garage so it'll be taking up room in the shop all the time Looks like I'll be moving the M3 and I haven't even finished its (never-ending ) detailing make-over yet!

ZoranC- Mine's a 2000. I had been going to something like Blazerowners.com but it's been down for a while. Too bad the dogs won't fit in one, I'd really like to just sell mine and buy a better one, but that's not gonna work.

Re: Chevrolet Suburban Forums?

You're welcome. You should be able to find all the information you could want on performancetrucks.net.
