The Infiniti G-Series

So with the introduction of the new G37 I can't help but wonder if that same engine will find it's way into the G35 sedan. The new VQ 3.5L in the G35 already makes 306bhp while the G37 is projected to make 330.

Just wondering if someone who's interested in purchasing a G35S in the nearby future should wait for any potential changes in say the 2008MY.

Not that there aren't some members here that own a g35 and could probably give you a good opinion, but this type of question would be better posted or searched on over at an infiniti forum.

My opinion is that the g37 will not make it to the sedan for a while. The sedan just came out months ago... There'd be some pretty ticked off 07' G35 owners.

but bmw, it seemed, had no hesitations introducing the 335i a year after the e92 330 came out.

IMO it's pretty clear that the G35 will remain with the 3.5 for quite awhile. Just as in the last-gen G35 the coupe had a more highly tuned version of the 3.5 for about 20 extra hp, the G37 offers a slight bit more performance over the G35 sedan, which I guess places it more where Infiniti thinks it should be in the market.

Theres no such thing as an E92 330...perhaps you meant E90 330.
