Need some tint opinions
I was wondering if people could share their photos of their window tinting...I'm going this week to get my car done (white) and can't decide whether I want to go limo in the back and then like 15% in the front windows or just do like 15 or 20% all the way around. So if you could please post pics of your car with the percentage and/or your opinions it would be much appreciated!
Thanks guys

Re: Need some tint opinions
Just had mine doe last week. I got 35% on the front doors, 20% on everything else. I know it's not the darkest, but it's plenty dark for me.

Re: Need some tint opinions
I've got 20 on the rear and 30 on the front doors. I had 20/40 on my previous car and didn't care for it. Only pic I've got makes it look darker than it really is...

Re: Need some tint opinions
Thanks for the pictures so far guys - I had 5% on the rear and 15% on the front for my last car. So far I am leaning towards 15% all the way around. Keep the pics/opinions coming!

Re: Need some tint opinions
If tint laws are of no concern in your area....I'd say get the same thing all around as mentioned. Gives it's a cleaner/ more uniform look.

Re: Need some tint opinions
I agree to keep the tint % uniform throughout. However, w/ that said, I dont like how "limo" tint looks. I think lighter tint looks much nicer

Re: Need some tint opinions
go 20% all around, thats pretty dark .
when you go darker than that it gets very hard to see out at night. also, when you see a cop on the road just roll down your windows a bit so you dot get busted. the cops around here tend to stay away from reg cars with tint , they like to go after the rimmed up cars with the bright lights and decals all over them..

Re: Need some tint opinions
On the Monte - 35% fronts and 20% on rears I believe. I like it but I am thinking about doing 20% all around on both of my newer cars.

Re: Need some tint opinions
Here's 20% on mine:
Check your local laws. Going much darker than law might cost you. I wouldn't get 5% on back. You'll have a real hard time seeing out it at night (while backing out of a parking space, etc.) 20% is a good number. It's nice and dark, but not too dark to attract attention.

Re: Need some tint opinions
Thanks for the continued replies everyone. I have an appointment to have my windows done on Friday afternoon. I'm either going to go with 15 or 20% all around. I will have to see when I get there how big of a difference it is.
On my other car I had 5% and 15% but there was little difference between the two. The front windows were just a hint lighter so I may decide to go with 20% all around. Basically regarding the law it all depends on luck. When I first got my windows done the first like 4 months I was pulled over 3 times for them. Since then (1 1/2 years) I never got heckled on them again. But, that isn't to say they don't care because I hear plenty of stories of people being pulled over, it's just a matter of what kinda mood the cops are in because I would pass them all the time windows rolled up 5% window tint and they wouldn't even care. I will update this thread Friday when I get home with pics and percentage
