I think we should ask "What are those hologram swirls and marks on the car? What kind of professional detail was done on it?"
And those pictures are nothing compared to the quality of photos taken in our C&B section. Or maybe they're purposefully blurry to hide other problems...

I detailed a restored '57 T-bird with almost the same hologramming treatment. The owner thought the holograms were an irremovable part of the paint and he was floored when I got them out. Just goes to show that classic car guys are not necessarily paint guys.

Almost every classic car guy that I know are like that also. They say it is in the paint and thats what glazes are for. They love those polishes with oils in them. It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. |
