Owned!!

My friend has a 95' F-150 with the 5.0L V8. In a race against my truck he slowly pulls ahead so he can pretty much beat me every time. I've got a 00' F-150 with the 4.6L V8.

But I took my highlander today

We caught a red light so we both lined up next to each other. I decided I was going to shift it so I could let it rev up higher so I dropped it down into first and waited. Light turned green and I stomped it. It did this good sized peelout! I didn't expect it though. When it is in "drive" and I stomp it, it just takes off and doesn't burn out but when manually dropped to first it peels out! YES!!!!

Well his truck didn't get any wheel spin and just took off. He got about a car lenth ahead of me b/c of the wheel spin I got. By the time I hit 6k RPMs in first gear, I was next to him. When I dropped it into second it just took off and was about 5 car lengths ahead of him b4 I slowed down.

Yhea!!!! Now he wants to drop a super in his truck so he can take me on :P

Also, What kind of mods can be bought for the highlander? Think they make performance mods for it?

I was looking at the airbox in it and WOW is it complex. I couldn't tell anything. There are a whole bunch of tubes and wires going into it and I can't figure out what they are for. Hell, I can't even find the freaking spark plugs in it!

I hope you don't have any spark plugs in your airbox!

I'll go get a pic of the airbox on this thing.

Try to have it up in a few.

airbox = intake

I've got pics on my camera. Just need to get around to starting up my other computer to load the pics. It is too dark now but tomorrow I'm going to pop the airbox open to look inside to see if I can figure out what is in there.
