Front bumper damage :(

So my dad was running some errands this morning and when he came back to the car he noticed a big tear in the front bumper. There were no other cars around so we're assuming it was a hit and run since no information was left.

Basically the whole front bumper needs to be replaced and I was curious to know if anyone can refer me to a good body shop in the Chicago area that offers good rates while producing good work.

I am hesitant to report the incident to the insurance (Geico) because of the chance of the premiums going up but maybe someone else has been in a similar situation that can chime in.

Thanks in advance for any input guys (and gals)

Re: Front bumper damage :(

I'm not from around Chicago so I can't help with the local advice. Since this happened while the car was parked, do you know whether this would be covered under a comp or collision claim? If you could make it under a comp claim, I wouldn't think it would affect the ins rates. My condolences, I'm be pretty PO'd as well.
