Rolling Cafeteria

As a rule I try not to eat and drink in my car. However, I do at times because I have a hectic schedule, and I don't always have the time for a sit down meal.
My question is what do you like to eat in your car, even if it makes a mess no matter how hard you try not to! I eat Dunkin Donuts Honey Bran muffins, and I always have to clean out the crumbs as soon as I park. I even jump out at red lights to try to remove any crumbs that fell below the seats. Any suggestions on how to avoid this problem.

Anyone belong to Dunkin Donuts anonymous !

Earlier this week I was on the go and stopped at a drivethrough for a quick bike. Then as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot my large soda fell out of the cupholder in my truck and landed in the passenger floor area. The top popped off and spilled the entire contents. I had to restrain myself from stopping in the middle of the street to immediately clean the mess. Fortunately I carry a box of paper towel rags and a jug of water and I was able to wipe most of up. Doh!!

I won't eat or drink anything in my car however the truck is my rolling office and sometimes lunch counter. I kinda have a method. What helps is that I have a large flat armrest (bigger than an LP (remember those) ) . I lay out the largest wrapper on the bottom then eat over that. When I'm finished I roll the wrapper up and throw the whole package away in the trash bag I keep in my tool box in the bed. That keeps the smell of sundried hamburger parts from permeating my interior.

As some have found out....

I tend to "live" in my car. My car has seen containers from the following establishments:

National
White Castle (The best driving food, IMHO)
McDonald's
Burger King
Wendy's
KFC
Taco Bell
Steak and Shake
Krispy Kreme
Baskin-Robbins
Dairy Queen
Popeye's Chicken

Local
Harold's Chicken
Beggar's Pizza
Church's Chicken
Pizzeria Uno
Several Chinese Restaurants
Oberweis Dairy
Several Hot Dog Stands (Including those on the Maxwell St. District)
Pepe's Tacos
J&J Fish

In a nutshell, my schedule gets pretty hectic and I need to eat in the Max since going home would be a huge inconvenience for me.
I have even gotten to the point of mastering EWD (eating while driving).

I've had my car for a couple years now and I am proud to say that I have never eaten in it once. I have been tempted to from time to time but I've gone so long without doing it that it seems like a shame to blow it now. Besides, crumbs in the creases of those leather seats would be a pain in the arse to clean out. I don't get to vaccum out the inside very often anyway and eating in it would just make it worse. (Being anorexic helps too. Resisting the urge to eat has never been very hard for me. )
