need to order parts for old honda
i'm sure this is an easy one...but since i don't ever purchase car parts i don't know where to go for decent prices. i have a friend that can do basic maintenance for me, but i need to pick up the parts.
any recommendations for honda parts online at decent prices? just basic things like air filter, plugs/wires, tranny fluid, etc.
thanks!

The one thing you'll need to be cautious of is the tranny fluid. Check with the dealer for that as Honda's fluid has been proprietary for years.

Same question here, I have been in the VW circles for so long I can anything VW related, however my wife hasa 98 civic, I need brake parts for, and dont know who to look for online. I would like slightly improved from stock, not autozone rotors and pads that fall apart in a year.

www.hondaaccessories.com How old is your honda?
If your vehicle is over 6 years old go to a parts store like Advance, Autozone, Parts America and Pepboys EXCEPT for inner bearing seals IMO My vehicle is over 16 years old[accord] has 240,000+ still RUNNING STRONG 24City/31Hwy? Lets just say one tank can take me from Wilm,Nc to Lanham,Md. yeah I love my Honda looking at a Element for next year waiting for a white to come out. Oh my honda mechanic is rated NO#1 on the east coast.

I run there on a 550 hp no2 assisted 81 z28

Find a Honda forum and inquire on there, the people who own these cars are the best source for info. Goodluck!
