Thanks, ecodetail! I'm just blown away by this car. It's been a long time since I've been this impressed by an American made car. Over the past 10 years or so, I've gone the Nissan,Honda & Toyota route. But the 300C has brought me back to good ole Uncle Sam!

My vacation starts saturday (9/30/06) and I'll try to get some pics of my new 300C up for all to see. I just have to figure out how to do it. I've tried in the past, but the file is always too big. Stay tuned............

As of now, I'm torn between Pink Wax, Natty's Blue or Souveran for my first "bonding session". I might even go the sealant route.....Z5 Pro/Z2 Pro. Too many choices. (lol)

Hit it up with some Souveran, IMO it is the best look on black paint, period. What polishing steps are you going to do?

Seriously, hope you enjoy your new 300C!! They definitely do have the mafia thing going on, but it looks mean to me.

I test drove the SRT-8 a few months ago and does it ever have power! Great looking cars though, the 300C's ... it was a treat to role around on those 20" rims for a whole week!!

Congrats on the purchase! Great choice!!

there was one at the track in portland hitting 13.7's consistently. no slouch at all, but I thought it was faster than that?

The SRT-8 has 425 bhp but you have to remember, it's a heavy car! Also, the rear-wheel drive doesn't help for great traction all the time! Made for an interesting drive in the rain that's for sure

I thought it would have done a bit better than that, having felt the pull and power on the highway ... it's a brute of a car either way ... made me giggle everytime I put my foot on the gas.

You can check out my review on www.wheeledge.com Hehehe not that I wanna plug my own writing or anything! Two of us tested it from the mag ... just an awesome car.

I was going to write "Are you kidding? Rear wheel drives are all about power to the ground" and then I realised that you drive a Subaru lol

Yup - I'm all for all 4 wheels gripping the road at all times ... but that doesn't mean I can't have fun in the winter ... Subies are pure drifting gold in the snow!

But back to the topic at hand ... the 300C is a savage car to own whether it's the base model or the SRT-8! Wish I could have another week in it!!!

As for polishes..........My arsenal has many choices...............I'm leaning towards my Menzerna polishes. IP/FP should do the trick, followed up with some RMG before a layer or 2 of Natty's Blue. 3 days later I'll top with Souveran.
