Well, I am going to the Ford dealer today...

Hell must have froze over because I am going to a Ford dealer today to see about trading my car in for a F-150 or Sport Trac. Not sure they can get the payments where I want them but if they can I am getting one, and if they can at least get me enough cash to pay off my Impreza. I really wanted a Fronteir or Tacoma but Toyota and Nissan just don't have all of the overstock 2006's like Ford has so from what I hear Ford is giving awesome deals on F-150 leases so we shall see.

You should be able to STEAL a truck with a V8 from any dealer right now. All they are selling is the tiniest most economical compacts. Beat them up good, they have to get rid of these trucks.

Well, we need a truck. I have a 2005 Impreza and my wife has a 2006 Impreza so we will still have a Subie in the family.

Look at Toyota Tundras. Toyota is giving great deals on those things as well. I bought my '06 in January and got a deal about $2000.00 better than Ford. With gas prices and the new '07 Tundra coming in Feb. Toyota has a lot of incentives on these trucks. I love my Tundra!!

Yeah I looked at Tundras but none of the dealers around me have any 06's left. I live right near detroit...Big Three capital of the world. I can drive 5 minutes and pass 2 Ford, GM, and Dodge dealers but had to drive an hour to get to a Subaru dealer.

My boss just traded in his 98 F-150...its a work truck, 158,000 miles, tranny about to go...they offered him $4,000 he said bump it up to $6k and he would buy...they gave him $6,000 for it. His payments for a 06 F-150 with only the trade in value put down are only at $120 a month. A fricken steal...Good luck!

You sure about that math? How much did the truck cost and what were his terms? That seems awfully low.

Positive that was his monthly payment, but maybe it was a lease vs buy?? I will ask him tomorrow morning when I see him about his terms and what not. If I remember correctly he said these payments were only for 2 years? Then they probably sky-rocket

Go to http://www.fordvehicles.com, they are offering 0% for 72 months on 2006 vehicles.

Yeah, Ford always has a ton of F-150's sitting around from last year (2006) and they dump them cheap.
