Chances of ins rates going up over comp claims

OK, this is coming out of an absurd, immensely frustrating situation. My car was damaged in the storms that hit St Louis last month and the insurance company, Farm Brueau of Missouri, was great about how they handled the claim, total payoff about $3000. I got the car back last Wednesday evening. Late Friday night/early Saturday more thunderstorms passed through the area and when I went out Saturday morning I found what appears to be 4 hail dents in the roof. Perhaps because the paint was so fresh (at least that the only reason I can think of) the paint is showing a color difference in the middle of one or two of the dents, so PDR won't be adequate to fix them. Here's a picture of the worst dent. I took the pic straight on to show the color difference, so the actual dent doesn't appear well in the shot.

Anyway, it looks like to fix this the shop's going to have to do a conventional dent repair and respray the roof, so that equals some $$$, but luckily I have a deductible of only $100. I understand that typically filing a comprehensive claim will not cause your rates to increase, but what are the odds that filing another claim like this right on top of another will be a problem? It burns me to no end to have this happen, but after going through everything to finally have my car in good shape and paying the shop extra last time to fix every imperfection they could find and repaint the whole car, I'm not in a mood to just live with this new damage.

Oh yeah, I'm sure it also isn't in my favor that I haven't heard anything in the news about major hail damage in the area from that storm. I heard the storms going on pretty heavy, then after I finally fell asleep my wife said she did hear some hail but I haven't found any reports in the news so I'm wondering if the insurance company will be skeptical of how the damage happened.

I work for an insurance company....heck I actually write the code for our application and while it's not your insurance company I can tell you you're probably ok unless you've got other recent claims.

We will however company place to a higher risk company if someone has 3 or more comp claims within a 36 month period.

Easiest thing to do it simply ask your company if it's going to put you at risk for anything negative if you file that claim and if they say yes pay out of pocket as it will save you money in the long run.
