Exclamation Small Hondas Are HOT...

Called my Honda salesperson today on a new purchase of a 2007 Honda Fit. He told me OCT/NOV delivery because I am a repeat customer from 9/05 having bot the 06 Civic. Deposit is $500. He asked me if I was trading my 06 Civic in? I said no. Asked him why? Told me that his dealership has a 50-deep waiting list on the Civic. He would take my trade-in in a heartbeat, waxed or not (he remembered me). Waiting list on the Fit for non-repeat customers at his delearship is NOV/DEC. Seeing my salesperson next TUE with my deposit.

Are the Fit, Yaris, Versa, Accent cars hot commodities everywhere else in the country?

the Civic is soooo hot I think that theres a 6 month waiting list on it . The fit is not so hot, it is pretty expensive for what you are getting, so most potential fit buyers just opt for the Civic because its only a few grand more

waited a week for my 07 fit here in FL

And the comment about the Fit not being hot and what your getting? What other car can you get honda reliability for with alloy wheels, a sport tuned suspension, decent looks, cruise etc for 15,720? Ya exactly you can't.

The Civic is top most stolen car here in Montreal, Quebec ten years running and going strong ...Lol that why I will never buy one again and the fact they are ridiculously over priced !

When the rest of the world hated the Civic hatchback, we were crying when they cancelled it back in 2001, with only the ultra expensive Si(SiR in Canada) it wasn't much an option.

Long Wait For Fit...

Officially put down my deposit on a Fit S today and was told about a 6 month wait. I almost choked. Problem is Honda USA's limited allocations to the delears and/or manipulation of the supply by Honda. Oh well but I did get a 2% discount off msrp.

I have only seen ONE Fit on a dealers lot and it was sold. I've been hearing that the wait is long here as well.
