New car for me!

So I finally signed the dotted line on a Ford Fusion today Paid $300 over invoice for it... makes me happy. Some people don't like the looks of them but I don't mind them. I dont' LOVE it but I can live with it without complaining I'll take delivery Monday night or Tuesday depending on when they can go get it. Tungsten Silver Metallic, black interior.

I will be using the $1000 rebate for buying detailing stuff. A TON of stuff. I'm still adding more every day it seems. So far I'm at $600 and that doesn't include shipping it all.

I will post pics of everything when I get it.

V6 SE with the sport package and the safety and security package for options.

Last night I woke up in the middle of the night thinking I bought the wrong color and I couldn't get back to sleep. This morning I went to a dealership and as I was walking up to the line of Fusions to take a closer look at the color I THOUGHT I wanted, Merlot, I was thinking to myself "I wonder what that dark gray color is. That looks better than the Merlot" Turns out it was the color I ordered! I promptly kicked myself and came back home.

"Wow very nice...How'd you pull 300 over invoice"

My parents-in-law have been going to this dealership ever since they were open so the owner knows them pretty well and cut me a deal

the fusion is a pretty good car.

DO NOT LET THE DEALER WASH THE CAR or DO ANYTHING SIMILAR. YOUR FINISH WILL BE INSTANTLEY SWIRLED.

I made that mistake with my passat.

"How did you pull $300.00 over invoice?"

Probably pretty easy anywhere.... Ford is hurting & nobody is buying cars.

Sounds like a good deal anyway!

The American car market is hurting so badly right now that the deal at $300 over invoice is the norm

I don't think I've ever paid more than $300 over invoice for an american car. The Fusion looks pretty nice. Hope you like it.
