Supercharged SRT8

A kid around the corner just started using me to detail his new SRT8. I took it for a little drive...the 450 hp (not sure what the exact figure is) comes in very handy. He just told me he has already orded a Paxton with 8lb boost for it, which will bring the total to 600HP. Nice. It's a setup I wouldn't mind having!

Yup, 425 hp. Is it the SRT-8 Chrysler 300 or the Dodge Charger?

Muahahahaha.....425 stock, so I figure mine is about 440 after exhaust and intake.
GSM is the supercharger kit that seems to work best (from 8-10 lbs of boost). Ends up with over 500bhp at the wheels, over 600 on the dyno. Someday.........but in the meantime, you guys are helping me keep it clean and shiny.

Nice numbers. Did kenne bell ever come out with the twin screw for the hemi or did they totally drop the ball? A twin screw on an engine like that would have you breaking your neck on launch, that or breaking input shafts.

Oops. The SRT8 I'm referring to is an all wheel Jeep Grand Cherokee. With the All wheel drive, it absolutely launches off the line. I don't know how it does at the higher end, as I only drove it a short distance from his house to mine after detailing...he's gonna take me for a longer spin in a few days.

There are actually four SRT-8s: The Jeep Grand Cherokee; the Chrysler 300; the Dogde Charger and the Dogde Magnum.

Those things are awesome. I wish I could have one.

Yup. they're sure to grab. I wish the AWD version of the 300C was available with the SRT-8. Remember the GMC Syclone? Those things were really hot for their day. I remember a magazine article where they outran a Ferrari in the 1/4 mile.
