Not only that, you can take that extra cash and dump it into the car rather than paying for a bunch of Mugen mods that will do nothing but give you pointless bragging rights while someone is out there with you on the track taking turns harder, exiting faster, etc.
I think the Civic Si won't do as well now that the Mazdaspeed3 is out and selling pretty well. Right now in Canada though at least, the problem we have currently is that the Si only comes in two door. The only car that is 4 door and has the same engine is the Acura CSX-S which is essentially the American 4 door Si with some other goodies.
But man, that CTR is fugly!!!!!!!

But still, a body, suspension, tire/wheel kit alone isn't enough to turn my crank. To even be a blip on the radar, it needs another 30 hp, drop 100 lbs and a limited slip differential. A brake kit might not hurt, but isn't a dealbreaker.
However, even at that, the Mazdaspeed 3 is still the better buy. Not to mention $30k puts you in Evo, STi and R32 range.
But still, I'm certain there are enough suckers out there willing to finance $30k for a Civic with Mugen stamped on it. If only to be seen cruising around and install an audio system worth at least half the car's sticker price.

Yeah, they did everything to take performance away. All the "bolt ons" just make the care thief bait as they can take it all off your car and put it on theirs.
30k puts it up there with some serious company for new cars and if you don't mind a couple years used even more serious company(CTS-V) that have performance that this car simply wouldn't be able to touch.
Yep, there's a sucker born every minute but I'm already hearing rumors of 10k over sticker.
