2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan unveiled 56K-no

Here are some images from nissanews.com. I like the new look they are going with. To me it resembles the M35/45 which I've always liked. Most impressive to me is the interior... I like that the most! Enjoy!

Interesting! I see a covered slot in the last picture that says "Compact Flash." I wonder what that's about?

The only thing it's lacking is one more pedal next to the brake.......

It's about this

It was stated on the g35 board that there's a built in Hard Disk for storing music and you can load it using the flash drive. I have not been able to verify whether this is true but I do see that Infiniti did some work on the audio system. This is what they state
"Available advanced technologies include... the audiophile-quality Infiniti Studio on Wheels™ by Bose®, combining the industry’s first 3-way front door speaker array using 10-inch woofers with an audiophile quality head unit incorporating a 24-bit Burr Brown® Digital Audio Converter."

That's pretty cool. I'll have to get to a dealer just to hear that!

As with the last gen there is a 6MT option in the 2007. Standard is a 5 speed rev matching automatic and the sports package auto comes with paddle shifters.

Also, fwiw, there are some very good pics on Infiniti's site now (http://www.infiniti.com/allnewG).

That is so nice!!!

It's about time they updated the G35, it was looking so dated compared to its new competition...

This definitely renews my love affair with Infiniti!

I like it overall...but I'll keep my 2003.

I like the rear end design most of the exterior. Front end just doens't look aggressive/stylish enough for me. Sides look pretty good, except I don't like that goofy line running in the upper half of the car. I think the car would look much better w/o the line.

Interior looks MUCH better to me, than on my '03 sedan. I like the white/blue/purple color contrast on the dash and other pieces. Actually looks like it belongs in this century, instead of the Pontiac-ish orange they used on earlier models, although I like the orange too, just like the new style much better. And, about time they put the seat controls where they belong!!

Doubt I'll trade up for it though...if anything, being newly married, I'll need an SUV to haul crap...

The coupe design looks better overall, IMO.

Mike

Ya, the coupe concept definitely looks amazing. I dunno if maybe Nissan made a mistake releasing images of that first - kind of got people expecting a little too much of the new sedan. Like the current sedan/coupe I think there will definitely be a distinct difference in the styling of the two, which is fine by me. Not sure if I'll trade up my '03 either - it's going to depend more on the engine than anything else.
