New Wheels for the Silverado

I wanted some aftermarket wheels for my Silverado, but didn't want to pay $1000+++ for them. So after searching around eBay I found that 18" Infiniti QX56 wheels will fit the 6-lug GM trucks. Apparently nobody wants these wheels, because there are several on eBay for under $500 for the set. I got mine for $539 shipped, and they were brand new take-offs without a scratch or mar on them. I had some Falken Ziex S/TZ tires mounted on them, and now I'm rollin' 18's for the summer!

(Oops, nevermind the wheel wells -- the only thing I've done so far this spring is wash the paint)

Nice! I thought the QX56 had 20s? Maybe those were optional, with 18s standard.

I think your mistaking them for the FX35 which have 20s stock.

Nice rims Dave they match your grille good.

Looks really nice!

Will you try to find different center caps?

Thanks guys. I'm not crazy about having an Infiniti logo on the caps, but I haven't seen any generic ones (searched eBay). The emblems are really not all that noticeable unless you are looking right at the caps up close, so I'll probably just keep them the way they are. I'm guessing that 95% of the people out there wouldn't know what the symbol is anyway.

we have these wheels on out qx56 and they are a PITA to clean. I hate them.

But they look nice tho, just get rid of the caps, if i remember, dont the infinity logo pop off or is it molded into the cap?

I think the logo is molded into the cap, but I'll double check tonight. It would be nice if it was just put on with adhesive.

I don't think these wheels will be any harder to clean than my stockers. Maybe a few more spokes, but I've definitely seen worse!
