Top Gear is Back ON

Not sure how many here are interested in Top gear but here goes...

Ok, just wandering around the dial tonight and ran across Top Gear on the Science Channel. (Discovery owns this channel.) Baffled as I was I flipped it on (watching it right now!) Indestructoble Toyota is on. Just reviewing the Evo at the moment.

So I have a feature on my box where I can look ahead and see when this show is on again. To my suprise they are rerunning all the Discovery channel versions on the Science Channel...

Ok here's where it gets good. On Feb 9th from 8-9 Central on the Discover Channel they will start playing the new Top Gear! The new one's descrpiton for that show is called. "Flying Wig" Circa 2006.

Unfortunatly it's probably the new guys and not Clarkson and the Hamster, but I guess that will do.

For now the Science channel will be one place to get your fix, and the Discovery channel in a week or so.

Like Top Gear? Try this: http://www.finalgear.com/
You'll be pleasantly suprised.

I got hooked again when it was on Discovery, but they are too stingy as to when they play them.

Yeah BitTorrent drives me nuts. The download speeds are soooo painfully slow. It's like the only people that torrent are on dial up. Unless I'm doing something wrong.
I just keep scouring Google Video for new tidbits. I'm sure I'll have watched them all very soon. I'm just glad to see it back on the air here. I did email BBC America and asked them to think about airing it. They could get some good viewership numbers by putting The Office first, then Top Gear (uncut) and follow up with Creature Comforts.

Odd, I usually get whole top gear vids within an hour on BT. Chances are, you need to open up the proper ports. Only problem with the Discovery Channel version of Top Gear is that some stuff is cut out, and then you have the damn adverts.

What softwate are you using? I tried some things last year and tried the Dobkey this year. Both of them sucked. If I could do it in an houe I'd be very happy. I'm on broadand and have a fat connection.
