What's a cool, comfortable '06 car for a single heart broken guy? :)
I need a car that has the following qualities:
- Comfortable
- Reliable
- Good Looking
- Less then $30k
I'm 27 and travel a lot. I'm going through a mid-life crisis. Looking to start fresh in 2006 In Texas I can only get deals on Honda, Toyota, Chevrolet, Dodge and Hyundai. What do the fine guys at autopia recommend out of those?
I'd like to get a BMW 325i sedan but no access to BMW dealerships yet.
Thanks in advance.
I love nanners

A non-M BMW? Camery? Civic? Come on, you said mid-life crisis didn't you?
The ultimate mid-life crisis car = Corvette. For $30k, you could get a nice C5 'Vette, which is just what you need to feel young again. Wouldn't be very bad for trips either, so long as you're going alone. Who needs a back seat if it's just you? The LS1 V8 is a reliable engine, parts are cheap (a lot cheaper than a BMW!), and gas mileage isn't that bad, especially on the highway (they have so much low-end torque that they can be geared super-low for freeway cruising, and get around 30 mpg).
That's the obvious choice to me.

Would hope that you would consider a Chrylser 300 C. A very unique vehicle. Style, class, ride and power.

Hmmm....
I'd pick a Dodge Charger R/T, Honda Accord Coupe 6MT, or a new V8 Impala.
All are very comfortable, look good, and are also fun to drive!

Age 27 HARDLY qualifies you for a mid-life crisis... you've got a LONG way to go!
Regardless, for less than $30k, you could pick up a used BMW Z4, a used '03/'04 supercharged Mustang Cobra coupe/convertible, a used Honda S2000, etc. "Dependability" is a relative term once you get into the elevated performance field. If you're bent on going new... I second the Civic Si vote.

Its a shame you don't have access to Nissan's. The 350Z would fit your needs perfectly

My vote goes to a:
-Nissan 350Z
-Subaru WRX
The 350Z has a bit more fun/glam factor but the WRX is great in any terrain and absolutely rips off the line.

Mid life crisis? You must not plan on living long? LOL
I would go for a Subaru Legacy.

What about a Chrysler Crossfire? The coupe (non convertable) has an MSRP of $29k. Does Chevy include all GM products or just the Chevy dealer?
