So despite the Chevy HHR being pretty stupid

They have really nice paint. It's just so flat, and it seemed like there was little orange peal. I was impressed. They're starting to come around.

According to Scottwax's new thread and now this one, it seems like GM is starting to work on their paint quality. Always a plus.

But yup that HHR is just... different in a bad way.

I thought you were buying one of those built-in-Alabama Hyundais? How's the paint on them?

I don't know. I wouldn't buy a Hyundai just yet, because their resale value still isn't that great.

I dont know about Hyundais resale, but a 05 Sonata listing for $21000 new will cost you used $14000 . A 05 Ford Taurus listing for $21000 will cost you used $12000. In this case the Hyundai used is worth more then a Ford.
