I like it. I wouldn't say I love it, but it's better than the last design, imo. Besides, I like where they're going with the engine.

Looks tons better than it's bigger brother and also better in person than in pictures. I'm also liking where they're going with the engines too.

Have any of you seen the Si videos over at vtec.net? This car has returned to the "killer" car it once was!

I like it alot! Much better than the last-gen. And the cockpit is SO much better! The engines are awesome! Especially the Si with 200hp!!! It is indeed back!

being a 7th gen 03 coupe owner, i did not like the styling of the new 8th gen vics at first. but... the 4dr sedan has grown on me and i wouldn't mind having one. i've seen a few in person and they remind me of like a little brother of the acura tsx.

I dont love or hate it. I like it a little, and prefer the coupe.
The interior is nice, except for the dash. Not a fan of the steering wheel either.
Overall it's not bad but some small changes would make a big difference to me.

It looks much better in person.

And this wash mit doesn't look very soft.
edit: Oh I see in typical TOL fashion they hoard their pictures.

Anyway....my only gripe with the car is that the outward view is very obstructed by the A pillars.

Talking

What can I say. I own one.

The build quality (early ones came from Japan) of the 2006 Civics is outstanding. Much better than Marysville. The new styling makes last years Civics look real old. Body gaps are perfect. If you see one in person look at the wheel well gaps. They were patterned after BMW's world-class design. And it comes with a very sweet I-VTEC engine and a 5-speed manual (5-speed is standard). 32-39mpg. All this for $16.5K out the door. Thank you very much Honda!

I like the 06 Civic a ton! I bought an 05 Civic Sedan EX Special Edition about 6 months ago which I will be handing down to my daughter and getting an 06 Civic Sedan EX, although not sure what color yet.

Drove the 06 sedan and coupe earlier this week. My impressions:

- Horsepower increase and torge increase is very noticable vs. 05 model
- SOLID, VERY SOLID car. Much more so than the 05.
- Perception of Quality - The overall quality feel is comparable, IMHO, to the Accord.
