Looking for a '98 Lexus GS 400
If any of you know someone with a '98 GS 400 for sale (preferably either red, green or blue) that is good condition I am looking for one to buy. Please let me know. I am more concerned about the condition of the paint and interior than the number of miles or options. I would appreciate any help in locating one to buy.

sorry, don't know of any. did you check the usual sources like autotrader or cars.com? I did a quick search and there are about 25 1998 GS 400's posted at cars.com:

Yes, I have looked at many of the online sources. I was hoping that someone from this site may know of a car personally that I might be interested in buying ..... either now or in the next couple of months. I would rather buy a car that has been accurately described to me by an "Autopian". I trust the people on this site more than a car dealer or even an individual trying to sell their own vehicle. Just keep me in mind if you hear of a friend that might be selling a nice GS 400 down the road.

I ended up buying an Alpine Silver '99 GS 400 with the Nakamichi sound system, Xenon lights, heated seats and only 56K miles. If all the paperwork can get processed by Friday I should have it delivered from NY by Sunday afternoon. The silver was not my first choice (it was actually about my 4th or 5th choice of color) but the interior/exterior condition of the car, the low mileage, the desired options, and the reduced price of $18,795 was more than I could resist.
